Spider Man, War for Planet of the Apes, Baby Driver, Dunkirk
Lets start with my favorite movie of the summer--Baby Driver!
I have never seen an action flick revolve around a soundtrack. Amazing songs in this flick. The director & writer Edgar Wright has great musical taste. Plus its the first time my hometown of Dunwoody is mentioned in a movie. Whole movie was filmed and takes place in the ATL.
The driving action scenes were great but to me the MUSIC was the star.

Dunkirk
I have never FELT a movie like this--the chair would shake during bomb scenes, the music was tense Hans Zimmer at his best! I was on the edge of my seat for most of the movie because of the musical score.
It will win ant least 1 Oscar for sound editing--it would be worth paying extra to see in 70mm GTX format. I saw it on regular screen and it was impressive.
Plot was confusing as there was 3 parts all different time lines--was hard to follow at first but all came together in the end

Spider Man Homecoming--was lame. the special effects are not as good as the Sam Raimi versions.
Plus the diversity mandate from Hollywood is getting a little ridiculous. The bully to Peter Parker Flash ( who in the comics is a huge white football player) in this its a nerdy Indian kid who teases Pete by calling him Penis Parker. Very disappointed in this flick

War for Planet of the Apes
Seemed like LONG flick no different than the other 2 previous --was ok end to the trilogy.
