The Avengers, finally!

AMAZE--BALLS, my new favorite saying.
The Avengers rocked the big screen!
I wanted to see this movie earlier, but I promised to take my son when he finished 2 books first.
So, all weekend he was about to pee his pants.

I did take a sneak peak earlier this week on the regular 2d version.
It is well worth the extra few dollars to see in 3D. Not even close.
A.J. my 9 yr old flinched several times when aliens flew straight at us.

The character ground work was good, you really dont have to see any of the first movies to understand what is going one. ( It would help to see them when it comes to the villain and Thor connection, & the object that everyone wants)
But it is easy to tell the good guys vs the bad guys which is the premise for the movie.

I guess its my own inner "Hulk" that makes me smile while watching the Hulk.
When that Big SOB gets on the same page with the other Avengers--it gave me goosebumps and I could not help but smile watching this guy just Smash everything in site.
There were a couple of scenes with the Hulk that the whole theater burst into laughter.
My son's favorite characters were Captian America and the Hulk.
I really enjoyed Chris Evans as Capt America ( I did not see that flick) , I just liked his team first, soldier mentality, and his team leadership.
A.J. brought up that " I think Ironman was kind of a jerk, and was rude".  Outstanding for a 9yr old to pick up those character flaws. But he realized the Ironman did learn a lesson at the end and AJ was very proud of what Ironman did to save his friends.

This is a great Summer Blockbuster type film.
For all you Dads out there, if your son is at least 7yrs old, then take him to this. It is a great father & son moment. I'm not sure little girls would like this flick, but some might. Take the time with your child and share a nice time at the movies. Plus they might learn a little something about team work and being a part of something bigger than themselves.

rating 1-10
Giving it a 9 , it lived up to the hype and was worth the $30 to go see on the big screen.
Which seems high, but it is the first summer blockbuster and it delivered!
I will go see it again--it was that good.
