13 Hours the Soldeirs of Bengahzi

What a shit storm this story is, I am so glad I am not in the military. Budget cuts have made it impossible to do a good job. The Michael Bay movie is typical MB style, very grandiose in scenes, but what makes the movie are the actors who portray these heroes.  I can't even imagine ( well I can , watched it in real time on screen) HOW pissed off these guys must have been when they got home. The CIA comes off as a bunch of D-bags. I hope this was just for the movie's sake, and the events did not unfold like in the movie.  Once again the actors, John Kransinki & James Badge Dale are awesome, but the best was Pablo Schreiber, the comedic one of the bunch. Phenomenal job acting by everyone in the flick.

I give it a 6.8 out of 10

The Revenant--WOW crazy insane flick

OK --I have never seen a movie like this.  The attention to detail is so intense, the sound of walking in powder snow, gutting of a dead horse , to the "huff" of a grizzly bear. Alejandro G. Inarritu will win another Best Director Oscar this year, last year's Birdman was filmed unlike anything I had ever seen , UNTIL NOW.
He did it again, Alejandro is a freaking genius with the lens. The story is so-so, hell Leonardo doesn't even say 25 words the whole movie. Tom Hardy is great, you want to punch him in the face 5 minutes into the story. he plays such a douche bag. Once again the story is "meh"/ok, but to watch it unfold is true cinematic masterpiece.

You know how Bruce Willis in all the Die Hard movies goes through so much hell--well multiple that times 100 for what Leo endures in this flick. Its so unfathomable the shit he goes through and comes out on the other side. Impossible, but its worth watching how, he survives. Damn cool movie.
No one under the age of 17 should see it, when I mentioned earlier-- attention to detail--, its not for the squeamish.
I give it an 8.5 out 10
