This is a great great movie. The best movie I have seen this year.
Matthew McConaughey will win an oscar for his role as an old drunk wanna be Rodeo cowboy turned AIDs activist. I never knew about the so called HIV drug AZT and how toxic it was to people in high doses.
FDA comes off like money grubbing fools.
The physical transformation McConaughey goes thru is amazing.
Jared Leto is unbelievable in hhis role as a drag queen. Run don't walk to go see this movie before the Oscars. Intriguing story and some of the best acting you well ever see. An amazing movie.
I give it a 8.7 out of 10

The Wolf of Wall St likes hookers and blow
Seriously, if you don't like gratuitous sex and lots of drug use on the big screen you won't like this movie.
But, if you don't mind it , its a really fun movie to watch!
My wife said it was "1 more nipple away from being rated X". Not really or even close , but there is a lot of nudity and it was fine with me.
Based on a true story of Jordan Belfort a guy who played the penny stocks for millions of dollars. Built a nice little empire and Let his ego get in the way and be his down fall.
The writing and acting is superb. Leonardo is great as Jordan. Might win a golden globe tonight. Jonah Hill is hilarious as is lackey and Quaalude dropper. Being an adult in 1990's I never met anyone do Quaaludes and these guys popped them like Advil. Then again I didn't hang out in NYC during that time. That part of the movie was fascinating to me. There is 1 scene in particular that is hilarious when they get a hold of some really old and powerful "Ludes".
Margot Robbie who plays his wife is a STAR in the making--wow. What a hottie and does a great job acting.
I really enjoyed this flick and I give 7.5 out of 10
