Big Hero 6 is awesome sauce

OK go take your kids to see this movie. What a treat ! Very well written with a great message. The animation was great. And when you give your kids a funny high 5 after the movie you will get what I mean.
Kids and I gave it a 9 out of 10

Sonic Highways is a MUST watch for any music lover!

OK--The Foo Fighters have a music documentary on HBO.
Its called Sonic Highways--if you like music--any type of music.
Punk, Blues, Country , Rap, Rock--this is a documentary of American Music.
The Foo Fighters go to a town and research its history of music. Then they write a song and record it in a local studio.
So far, Chicago, Washington DC ( which I had no idea ever had a music scene) & Nashville.
You don't have to like the Foo Fighters to enjoy the show.
It is such a history lesson , its awesome.
If you don't have HBO get the DVD whenever it comes out
Amazing--one of the best things I have watched in years on music.

Guardians of the Galaxy was best movie experience in years

WOW--this was the best movie experience I have been to in years!!
I have never had the desire to go see a movie again in the theater since Avatar. I would go see this again in 3 d for sure. The boys and I saw it in regular but I bet in 3d it is amazing.
Laugh out loud funny, action packed, the acting was really good. You felt and "rooted" for the gang.


I can't wait for the next movie , I am sure there will be 3 of them.
I would recommend this movie to anyone--even with kids. Most of the humor was PG-13 for sure and over my 8yr olds head. But again I cant say enough of how much I enjoyed this movie.

Dawn of Apes is like Empire Strikes back

I took my 11 yr old and his 12 yr friend
they both gave it 10 out of 10.
It was a great movie--the 2nd in the Planet of Apes reboot.
You should see the first movie  to understand where Caeser the main ape is coming from--the boys had not seen the Rise of Apes and they followed along quite well.


This movie is like what Empire Strikes Back was to the Star Wars trilogy
This will be the best of 3 I am sure

Neighbors is laugh out loud funny

I think Seth Rogan is a comedic genius.
His humor and acting just cracks me up.
This movie reminds me of my wife and I after we had our first baby.
we didn't want to think of ourselves as old--that is the whole premise of the flick.
BY FAR THE FUNNIEST movie I have seen this year.
College kids will like, parents will like it
funny for ages 16 and up

Transformers even in 3d , I had seen it in the previous other 3 movies
Michael Bay brought nothing new


22 jump street I will wait for dvd or on demand
Maleficent--lame
How to train your dragon 2 was a being hit with the kids, they loved it
wait for dvd unless your trying to do something on a rain day

Friends with better lives is so dirty it is hilarious

#FWBL, is like Freinds from 1990's but better , it's raunchy , and funnier.
The sexual innuendo is awesome, the chemistry of actors is great.
Take a moment and just watch a few episodes, I laugh out loud every episode
CBS is crazy if they cancel it.
Find it on Hulu or Cbs on demand, you will thank me later

Dallas Buyer's club

This is a great great movie. The best movie I have seen this year.
Matthew McConaughey will win an oscar for his role as an old drunk wanna be Rodeo cowboy turned AIDs activist. I never knew about the so called HIV drug AZT and how toxic it was to people in high doses.
FDA comes off like money grubbing fools.
The physical transformation McConaughey goes thru is amazing.
Jared Leto is unbelievable in hhis role as a drag queen.  Run don't walk to go see this movie before the Oscars. Intriguing story and some of the best acting you well ever see. An amazing movie.
I give it a 8.7 out of 10

The Wolf of Wall St likes hookers and blow

Seriously, if you don't like gratuitous sex and lots of drug use on the big screen you won't like this movie.
But, if you don't mind it , its a really fun movie to watch!
My wife said it was "1 more nipple away from being rated X". Not really or even close , but there is a lot of nudity and it was fine with me.
Based on a true story of Jordan Belfort a guy who played the penny stocks for millions of dollars. Built a nice little empire and Let his ego get in the way and be his down fall.


 The writing and acting is superb. Leonardo is great as Jordan. Might win a golden globe tonight. Jonah Hill is hilarious as is lackey and Quaalude dropper. Being an adult in 1990's I never met anyone do Quaaludes and these guys popped them like Advil. Then again I didn't hang out in NYC during that time. That part of the movie was fascinating to me. There is 1 scene in particular that is hilarious when they get a hold of some really old and powerful "Ludes".
Margot Robbie who plays his wife is a STAR in the making--wow. What a hottie and does a great job acting.


I really enjoyed this flick and I give 7.5 out of 10
